Plastic parts for packaging machines

Efficiency and reliability are enormously important for packaging machine manufacturing.
Our plastic parts help to meet these requirements, e.g. through our sliding and wear-optimized plastics, which can save energy and maintenance costs. In addition, plastics can often be used in environments that are problematic for metals or require special (expensive) alloys. In special sterilization and cleaning processes, plastics are often not critical. A wide range of plastics allows us to respond to our customers’ needs and produce application-optimized parts that allow higher volumes to be packaged with increased efficiency.

In the field of packaging machinery, plastics are mainly used that have the following properties:

  • low weight – energy efficiency
  • High mechanical strength, stiffness and dimensional stability
  • improved sliding & friction properties
  • High wear resistance and impact strength
  • reduced noise
  • ELS – or AST plastics for ATEX applications
  • High chemical resistance
  • Temperature resistance
  • Good damping or restoring behavior
