PETG is frequently used in the food indus\u00adtry because, unlike PC, PETG is food-grade in opti\u00adcal quality (sheets up to approx. 15\u202fmm thick). Howe\u00adver, the impact strength is some\u00adwhat lower than that of PC. PETG is more resistant to orga\u00adnic solvents and alka\u00adlis than PC. Both mate\u00adri\u00adals are suscep\u00adti\u00adble to scrat\u00adching, although poli\u00adshing is easier with PC.<\/p>\n
